Hi there Well Led Care,

I am writing to provide feedback regarding a 999 call I attended on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at approximately 09:19–10:30, at xxx Hall Lane, London RM14 1AL.


Upon arrival, I was greeted by two staff members, koli and Lola (apologies if the names are misspelled). Unfortunately, these are the only details I was able to gather from the staff on scene, as well as the organisation they represent, Well Led Care ltd.


I would like to commend both for acting so swiftly and caring for the patient (Jennifer) during this situation. Both koli and Lola were able to express their concerns and provide adequate handover information to ambulance staff. During this time, they both accommodated her needs and acted in the upmost professional manner.


Both koli and Lola maintained the patient's comfort, providing necessary treatment while ensuring she was stable in the condition they had found her in. This allowed ambulance staff to make a swift assessment of the patient. Additionally, they remained on scene, addressing any questions and providing further care, including assisting with personal hygiene and making Jennifer comfortable for transport to the hospital maintaining a highly professional manner throughout.


In my experience with the London Ambulance Service, I have encountered few carers who demonstrate the same level of dedication, professionalism and empathy as koli and Lola. Their dedication to the patient's comfort and wellbeing, as well as their assistance in safely extricating the patient, were exceptional.


Their actions were commendable and essential during this time and were a true reflection of your company's values of compassionate, patient-centred care. They worked collaboratively with each other, the patient, her husband, and the ambulance crew to ensure the patient's dignity was maintained and her needs addressed promptly and with great care ensuring a nurturing and supportive approach.


I would like to personally and professionally thank both koli and Lola for their outstanding support during this critical time. The genuine compassion, care and outstanding teamwork were heartwarming to witness and greatly appreciated. I hope that more patients have the privilege of receiving care from these remarkable staff members and that their contributions are recognised by Well Led Care Ltd for going above and beyond in such a challenging situation.
