Hi there Well Led Care,

I am writing to provide feedback regarding a 999 call I attended on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at approximately 09:19–10:30, at xxx Hall Lane, London RM14 1AL.


Upon arrival, I was greeted by two staff members, koli and Lola (apologies if the names are misspelled). Unfortunately, these are the only details I was able to gather from the staff on scene, as well as the organisation they represent, Well Led Care ltd.


I would like to commend both for acting so swiftly and caring for the patient (Jennifer) during this situation. Both koli and Lola were able to express their concerns and provide adequate handover information to ambulance staff. During this time, they both accommodated her needs and acted in the upmost professional manner.


Both koli and Lola maintained the patient's comfort, providing necessary treatment while ensuring she was stable in the condition they had found her in. This allowed ambulance staff to make a swift assessment of the patient. Additionally, they remained on scene, addressing any questions and providing further care, including assisting with personal hygiene and making Jennifer comfortable for transport to the hospital maintaining a highly professional manner throughout.


In my experience with the London Ambulance Service, I have encountered few carers who demonstrate the same level of dedication, professionalism and empathy as koli and Lola. Their dedication to the patient's comfort and wellbeing, as well as their assistance in safely extricating the patient, were exceptional.


Their actions were commendable and essential during this time and were a true reflection of your company's values of compassionate, patient-centred care. They worked collaboratively with each other, the patient, her husband, and the ambulance crew to ensure the patient's dignity was maintained and her needs addressed promptly and with great care ensuring a nurturing and supportive approach.


I would like to personally and professionally thank both koli and Lola for their outstanding support during this critical time. The genuine compassion, care and outstanding teamwork were heartwarming to witness and greatly appreciated. I hope that more patients have the privilege of receiving care from these remarkable staff members and that their contributions are recognised by Well Led Care Ltd for going above and beyond in such a challenging situation.

My mother is now 91 years old and although of sound mind she has become very frail physically. This mean she is generally confined to the house unless aided and is unable to complete even light household duties. As I do not live local, I engaged Well Led Care on recommendation from a neighbour. This was many months ago now and I have been pleased with both the quality of staff and service supplied.

Well Led arrive twice a day and ensure that my mum has got out of bed safely and has not fallen. Then giving her breakfast. This is repeated in the afternoon with a pre prepared meal. Well Led are happy to support my mum with general cleanliness and their friendly, well-mannered staff provide my mum a welcome opportunity to talk. They always take the time to get to know their customer.

In my experience it is always best to have an informal chat to any new face that arrives. This gives you both the confidence that the Carer has an understanding of what they are expected to do and that they have a contact point (you), for any questions/issues. i.e. they may advise a doctor’s visit may be advisable. An early conversation also ensures that they know their way around and where everything is located. For example, when certain things are required like refuse collection Well Led are happy to make sure that this basic necessity is taken care of.
